The body is a wonderful thing. It continuously does many miracles. Different organs come together and work together to ensure a continuous balance. The naked eye cannot see the bustling activity that happens within the human body. Red blood cells flow through the veins and carry oxygen, white blood cells fight against harmful materials.
One of these harmful materials are what we would call toxins. Just as the name suggests, toxins are harmful bodies which causes harm to the body. Toxins continuously build up in cells and do damage from there.
In a world of toxins, Detox is very important. Weight loss detox is a diet mainly for weight loss, but that is not all. Weight loss detox’ main purpose is to eliminate toxins from the body through the use of proper diet. With weight loss detox, not only do you lose weight, but you feel healthier too. Benefits include clarity if mind, a healthy body, and new energy.
As human beings, we have a responsibility towards our own body. We must take care of it, so why not start now through the use of weight loss detox. Below is a sample weight loss detox diet plan. Be reminded that the diet plan below is just a guideline. You can modify it as how you see fit. After all, you are the one who knows what’s good for you.
Detox Diet – Breakfast
Eat melons for breakfast. Eat as much as you like. All types will do.
Detox Diet – Lunchtime
Eat any kind of fruit for lunchtime, but always remember not to mix them. Have freshly pressed carrot juice as a snack or as an accompaniment drink for your lunch.
Detox Diet – Evening
For dinner you can either go fruity or veggie.
Fruity: Eat only apples, pears, grapes or bananas. Eat only one fruit at a time and eat till hunger is satisfied.
Veggie: Eat a large Rainbow salad of grated red cabbage, grated carrots, grated beetroot, chopped up celery, watercress, cucumber, and red or green peppers.
Detox Diet- Dessert
No sugary sweets. Have unflavored nuts for dessert, salted nuts and peanuts are a nono. Cashews, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds are fine.
Do this diet first for 10 days. If you cannot take it, do not force yourself or you may faint at any given time. If you can still continue, continue on for 1 month. Conserve energy. Rest is important for this diet to work. Do not overexert yourself. Be warned that you might feel light-headedness, fatigue, and nausea. This diet isn’t one for weak-willed people. Persevere and you shall achieve what you desire.
